Deerfield Township will have a Memorial Day celebration starting with a parade. Participating groups will gather at the Deerfield Fire Department at 8:30 am. The parade will start at 9:00 am at the fire station and proceed on to the Deerfield Cemetery. The American Legion Post 713 will host a Memorial ceremony directly after the parade with a prayer lead by the Vice Chaplin, followed by music from the Southeast Marching Band. Pastor Tim Muse will give a speech followed by a firing squad and the playing of Taps.
